Desaparecidos, the So So Glos and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello have announced a benefit concert for the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project.

The three artists, along with The Freedom Fighter Orchestra, have planned a benefit event for November 10, the proceeds of which will go to the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, commonly known as the Florence Project. The event, which is called “25 Years of Keeping Families Together,” will be held at The Pressroom in Phoenix, Arizona, with doors opening at 6 pm and the show starting an hour later.

The Florence Project is celebrating its 25th year of service in 2015; the nonprofit organization provides free legal aid to detained immigrants and refugees who are fighting immigration cases. The project works to keep these families together as well, instead of the splitting up that often happens in these cases, hence the name of the benefit. Conor Oberst of Desaparecidos and Bright Eyes has been a supporter of the organization for a long time and came up with the idea of the benefit. Of the project Oberst says,

The work the Florence Project does is incredibly important, and with this show, Tom Morello, the So So Glos, and I hope to not only raise critical dollars for the organization, but also to raise awareness on the issues of immigration and the approximately 3,000 women, men, and children in detention centers on any given day in Arizona.

Desaparecidos recently released an album entitled Payola and toured North America over the summer, with one more tour stop on October 30. Meanwhile, Tom Morello recently appeared onstage with Hollywood Vampires and Geezer Butler to play cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.” He is also involved in a new supergroup with Butler, Ozzy Osbourne and Slash; the group doesn’t yet have a drummer or a name. The So So Glos performed as part of the Skate and Surf 2015 lineup in New Jersey in May.
