Slayer has released a new video for their single “Repentless,” from their self-titled album, Repentless. The new album was released today. The video was directed by BJ McDonnell and produced by Felissa Rose with cameos from famous actors like Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn), Tony Moran (Halloween’s Michael Myers, American Poltergeist), Derek Mears (Friday the 13th) Tyler Mane (Halloween) Jason Trost (Hatchet III), Sean Whalen (Men In Black, Halloween II), and Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2).

The video takes place in prison and takes place in the middle of a riot at the Sybil Brand Institute located in East Los Angeles with the directors intention to capture bloodshed and violence as the meaning behind the single’s self-title. The word repentless mean that there is no remorse or regret. So it seems justifiable for someone to be shooting a single about feeling nothing for your actions, especially those actions that would lead someone to be placed in a prison like the Sybil Brand Institute, to climax to a scene of blood flowing in abundance, and inmates and prison guards being slaughtered.
