Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Shana Halligan has released a free download of “So Crazy.” This latest song, which is a bonus track from her upcoming album, Back To Me, follows on the heels of her last single, “Been Waiting.”
Back to Me was born out of an “arduous personal journey,” according to a press release, and it will be released on October 16th, 2015, on Plug Research Music.
A part of that journey appears to be catalogued in the lyrics of “So Crazy.” According to a press release, the song provides a snapshot of her cutting ties with an ex-partner that is suppressive. The song, itself, pairs modern production techniques with a classic-yet-catchy vocal delivery. It is moody, but the lyrics feature a sense of self-awareness and strength to end the relationship on the part of Halligan.
