Underoath fans rejoice! The band has officially announced that they will be headed out on a full US reunion tour this coming spring. It’s time to plan ahead, because they’ll be here in April for a performance at the Electric Factory. Tickets are on sale now for the 4/16 date.
Each night of the upcoming tour will showcase the band performing their albums They’re Only Chasing Safety and Define the Great Line in their entirety. They’ll also have “some special treats” up their sleeves that certainly won’t disappoint. Frontman Spencer Chamberlain recently spoke on the band’s reunion, saying, “I hated the idea of Underoath being ‘over’ and I’m not sure what we are, but we are all friends again and that’s really the most important thing. That being said, we felt like now is a great time to do a tour and celebrate Define the Great Line turning 10.”
Prior to reuniting, the band had played their final show together on January 26th, 2013 in Florida. This was the conclusion to their farewell tour. Their final album was dropped in 2010, and then the band relesed a career-spanning album, Anthology: 1999-2013.
