Welsh band Skindred has premiered a music video for their newest single “Under Attack,” off their upcoming album Volume.
The video premiered via Metal Injection and shows frontman Benji Webbe dressed in an outfit that seemingly imitates Run-DMC, performing in front of a crowd with shots of the audience and each of the band members. Webbe eventually joins the crowd in his performance.
A statement from drummer Arya Goggin reads:
“With the ‘Under Attack’ video we wanted the band in a small space with our fans. Down and dirty. The song is such a riffing track so we wanted a video that would compliment it. It was a fun day to meet and hang out with genuine fans and then go mental with them throughout the day. You can’t fake that energy, and that what the cameras captured.”
Just last year Skindred released their fifth studio album Kill the Power. The band will be going on tour in support of the Volume in early November, and the album is set to be release on October 30th via Napalm Records.
