V is the forthcoming album from Wavves, set to release on October 2, it is their second album of the year. The band shared a new song off the album entitled “My Head Hurts”.
The song can be streamed on Apple Music.
It was premiered on Beats1 this afternoon by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, who calls the band his “analog to Odd Future.” According to Consequence of Sound, the song isn’t like their previous hits, “Heavy Metal Detox“,”Way Too Much” or “Flamezesz“, the track has a burst of energy accustomed specifically to get you through a dreaded Monday. The song sounds very blink-182, with the hardcore punk level followed by the catchy hook. The album is set to be released October 2 and the full track-list can be found below.
