Adebimpe is out for a lot of new material lately, whether it be the new track he’s featured on with Natasha Kmeto titled “Grind” or the release of the trailer for Nasty Baby. Adebimpe’s last release of “Speedline Miracle Masterpiece” on the Grand Theft Auto V tracklist was back in April.
“Grind” is a great new electro chill track by Natasha Kmeto that Tunde Adebimpe collaborated on. It’s almost a haunting track, giving off eerie vibes as their voices contrast so well throughout the song. You’ll end up feeling touched by the echos and deeply haunting melodies that pull you in. From TV On The Radio to starring in an emotional new film called Nasty Baby, Adebimpe is spreading his influence throughout various mediums. According to Pitchfork, the film is directed by Sebastián Silva, the film is about a gay couple (Adebimpe and Silva) who enlist their friend (Wiig) to help them have a baby.
Nasty Baby premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and is now preparing to be released in the US theatres soon. This trailer gives an idea of the emotional journey and strange circumstances these individuals cope with regarding parenthood and major life altering decisions. It’s sure to be a beautiful movie with a story that will be fascinating and emotional to many, as well as take on a new light in the idea of parenthood.
