Singer of hit singles “Pretty Baby” and “Ordinary Day” Vanessa Carlton is back with a new single “Willows” from her upcoming album Liberman, which will be released in October of this year. Another single “Young Heart”, which marked the first new music release for Carlton, will also appear on the new album through her new recording label.
The single has a lyric video that includes connections to the musician’s change between record labels and the move to New York City, marrying husband John McCauley of Deer Tick and having a baby girl.
A deluxe version of Liberman will be released the same day featuring a complete collection of Live Living Room Session. The title of the album came to her after visiting an oil painting done by her grandfather. Carlton’s EP Blue Pool included tracks “Take It Easy” and “Blue Pool” that will be featured on the upcoming album. “Operator (Live Living Room Session)” and “Nothing Where Something Used To Be (Live Living Room Session)” will be featured on the deluxe version of Carlton’s album Liberman.
