Baroness Announce New Album And Release New Song “Chlorine & Wine”

Baroness will release their new album this December, Purple. The single “Chlorine & Wine” is available for audio listening on YouTube and includes a video of an animated clip. Yellow & Green was released in 2012 and made the Entertainment Weekly number one spot for the best metal album that year.

In the past three years, Baroness has made their own record label and their new album will be the first album produced under the new record label. The artwork was created by Jimmy Hubbard. “After releasing a lengthy and investigative record like Yellow & Green we all felt that we needed to make something much more direct and immediate,” commented John Baizley on the fourth album made by Baroness. All pre-ordered Purple albums will feature an instant download of “Chlorine & Wine” as well as limited edition colored vinyl version of the new album, two picture discs, t-shirts and other unique items. You can pre-order the album on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, or from the PledgeMusic website.

The band will perform at the Reading Festival tomorrow and at the Leeds Festival. The band is scheduling tour dates for the new album and will be announced soon.
