Danish alt-rockers, Mew, debuted the video for their new song “The Night Believer” from the bands current album “+ -.” The video consists of a combination of Copenhagen’s best features such as roundabouts, zoos and robots.
Since returning from their 6 year silence they have been coming back strong with videos for “Witness” and fan video for “The Night Believer.” The first video was released back in June and it included 1,000 of their fans from 65 different countries singing along. The new “The Night Believer” video looks like it could be the opening credits for a children’s show but it stays with the fun and bright personality that is Mew. It was produced by UK based Kestrel Media and brought to life visually by Lianne Pierce who created the Pixies’ animated video for “Bagboy,” and Will Hodge who has worked in multiple Disney movies.
Their newly released album “+ -” has been doing very well on the charts and their videos have not disappointed either. Mew gives off different air waves that most bands can’t. The way you feel when you listen to Mew should be the way you feel on the best day you’ve ever had, every day. Bringing art to life is not hard when you’ve got help from Disney and Pixar. Check out the eclectic video below to make your day.
