Thom Yorke Allegedly Performs New Songs In Japan

Radiohead frontman, Thom Yorke has been sharing little bits of brand new, unheard material with his audiences lately. While on tour in support of his latest LP, Tomorrow Modern Boxes, the artist allegedly played a song entitled “Traffic” at the Latitude Festival in the UK and now a few more tracks at his show is Osaka, Japan.

Along with his partner in crime, Nigel Godrich, the artist debuted two never heard tracks at his Osaka show; one reportedly entitled “Not the News” and the other, “Impossible Knots.” Of course no official records of the new songs exist but several videos of fan shot footage has been uploaded to YouTube and can be shuffled through using the set list down below.

Nobody really seems to know where this new music is coming from but Yorke has been working on a new Radiohead record, and composing new music for Broadway revival of Harold Pinter’s Old Times.

Recently, Yorke has joined Portishead and Headless Chickens onstage for once in a lifetime performances, and recorded a soundtrack for the British documentary The UK Gold with Robert Del Naja of Massive Attack.
