LISTEN: Duran Duran Releases New Song “You Kill Me With Silence”

For the first time in 5 years, Duran Duran is releasing music again, and we couldn’t be happier! Their up and coming album, Paper Gods, is bound to be just as good, if not better than we remember them. The new record will feature several guest appearances including Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers on their track “Pressure Off” and Mr Hudson on the album’s title track, along with John Frusciante, Mark Ronson, and even Lindsay Lohan. Yes, that’s right, Lindsey Lohan. The newest song, “You Kill Me With Silence” is in fact one of the only tracks on the record that is solely Duran Duran.

Cosequence of Sound covered the story and gushed, “Opening with a synth line and drum machine beat that’s vaguely reminiscent of a hip-hop track, ‘You Kill Me With Silence’ starts to slowly burn as singer Simon Le Bon’s vocals drop in. He laments the powers of a lover who refuses to reciprocate his affections with even the slightest of words. ‘But I remain/ despite your deadly aim/ to drive another lad insane/ When you won’t speak my name,’ Le Bon sings.”

Recently, the group has released new tracks (“Pressure Off”), announced their appearance at the FOLD Music Festival, and dropped the full tracklist and special guest list for Paper Gods.
