Bitter:Sweet vocalist Shana Halligan has announced the release of her new album Back to Me, set to be out October 16th on Plug Research Music. This will be Halligan’s second solo release.
Shana has released a song from the forthcoming album titled “Been Waiting,” which honors her sultry voice against an eclectic assortment of percussions mixed with solemn piano work. The song eventually emerges into an electronic beat, and through that Halligan finds a balance that gives a soothing ambiance.
Shana has previously worked with the likes of Thievery Corporation as well as System of Down’s Serj Tankian and Buckethead. Her most recent endeavor has been with Captain Planet’s Chuck Wild with their collaboration Shana and the Hooligans, which last released music in 2014.
