The Twilight Sad Announce New Album Òran Mór Session LP For October Release

Last Year, Scotlands The Twilight Sad released an album called Nobody Wants to be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave. This Fall the band will release Òran Mór Session.

The album will consist of reworked tracks from last years album as well as b-sides and a cover of Arthur Russell’s “I Couldn’t Say It To Your Face”- recorded in Glasgow’s Òran Mòr auditorium. Which only makes sense to title the album where they had their secluded show consisting of the 2014 album. The LP acts upon a recap for the band considering the whirlwind they had from Nobody Wants to be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave. The album will be released on October 16 via FatCat Records. The band describes their sound as “folk with a layer of sound.” The Twilight Sad’s lyrics are dark and personal as is so the stripped down version must just be that extra layer they never really wanted.

Below is the album cover and track list.
