Lana Del Rey fans will be happy to hear the singer can be heard on two soon-to-be-released tracks – one of which is her own, and one on which she is featured.
According to Pretty Much Amazing, Del Rey announced her new single “High By The Beach” via Instagram. The track will be released on Aug. 10.
The song is Del Rey’s newest single from her upcoming album, Honeymoon, set to release sometime in September. The first single, titled after the album, can be heard here.
Following the release of “High By The Beach,” Paste Magazine reported the singer will also be heard on track with none other than R&B sensation The Weeknd.
Beyond his soulful voice and numerous chart-topping hits, The Weeknd can also be recognized for his previous collaborations with artists such as Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and most recently Meek Mill.
Now, he has stepped away from rappers and reached out to Del Rey. The two joined forces on a song called “Prisoner,” which will be featured on The Weeknd’s upcoming album, Beauty Behind the Madness.The album is set to drop on Aug. 28.
