Carly Rae Jepsen has released a new single, “Warm Blood,” from her upcoming album. Her new album, Emotion, is scheduled for release on August 21 via Schoolboy Records/Interscope.
Jepsen’s new single, “Warm Blood,” portrays more of the singer’s potential compared to her last hit, “Call Me Maybe.” The sensual sounds of her voice glide over the steady pop beat that holds the melting sounds together. As Jepsen sings, “Cuz you lift me up and catch me when I’m falling for you,” an outpour of emotions are felt behind each word.
Jepsen has previously released singles “I Really Like You,” “Run Away With Me,” “All That,” and “Emotion” from the album. According to Rolling Stone Jepsen is scheduled to perform on The Today Show on August 21 to celebrate the album.
