Industrial rock band Primitive Race have released a new track called “Acceptance of Reality.” Listen to the mxdwn exclusive premiere below:

The song features Tommy Victor on vocals and Mark Gemini Thwaite, Erie Loch and Chris Kniker working out the rest, which is a small fraction of the members of Primitive Race as a whole. The hard-hitting track begins with a slower, simpler combination of drums and guitar, but gains momentum along with Victor’s lyrics (“Some of us are just ready to explode”). Victor then mentions delusions and perceptions before getting to the chorus, where he wants us to accept reality.
“Acceptance of Reality” is set to be the third track off the Primitive Race’s self-titled, full-length album, which will be released on August 7. The group released “Follow the Leader” from Primitive Race earlier this summer.
The industrial supergroup officially formed in 2013, supported by crowd-sourced campaign. The full band contains members from Nine Inch Nails, Revolting Cocks and KMFDM, as well as producers for Marilyn Manson and Lords of Acid. Their first EP was a ten-track collaboration with PIG titled Long in the Tooth, which came out in June.
