Yoko Ono Announces New Album Of Collaborations Featuring Death Cab For Cutie, tUnE-yArDs And Portugal. The Man

Yoko Ono has announced her follow-up to her 2007 collaborative remix LP Yes, I’m A Witch, which featured artists such as Peaches, Le Tigre and Cat Power, titled Yes, I’m a Witch Too.

This album, which is a continuation of the revisiting of Ono’s previous works, will this time feature Death Cab for Cutie, Bjorn and John, tUnE-yArDs, her son Sean Ono-Lennon and more. Yes, I’m A Witch Too will be released January 22nd, 2016 via MANIMAL as a double vinyl.

Ono has been known to work collaboratively with a slew of artists. She has joined the band The Flaming Lips numerous times throughout the years in collaborative works (they also worked with Ono on Yes, I’m a Witch) and most recently in covering “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” the famous protest song written by Ono and her late husband John Lennon. She’s also worked on 2012 collaboration album with ex-Sonic Youth members Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, as well as with her son Sean on the 2013 Yoko Ono Plastic Ono band album Take Me to the Land of Hell.
