Brooklyn Band Throw Vision just released their new video for their new song “Hello Morning”, and boy is it one heck of a video. The song itself, “Hello Morning” has to be described as so incredibly ethereal and dream like. The soft instrumentals in the beginning deceive you into believing it is a light airy track, but just wait until the vocals hit. The sound hits you with such full force that you can’t help but feel like you can do anything, and that’s really the power that Throw Vision has as a group. This video is a stepping stone, allowing them to put a visual to a great track.
One of the things that is great about music videos is their ability to provide something even more than the track you’re listening to and focus on not one of your senses, but two. Throw Vision takes an incredibly artistic route for their video for “Hello Morning”. You can tell they really want you to focus on the texture and colour of the scenes. Flipping between close up shots of the musicians to artistically laid out shots of the ocean, of coloured ink and of various other aesthetically pleasing clips. They really add to the whole nuance of the track, only making it that bit more magical.
Throw Vision is a group that clearly does not colour in between the lines. They obviously don’t stick to one genre of music, as the hints of rock, soul, and alternative all combine into “Hello Morning”. However, they don’t stick to the boundaries of a generic music video either. Taking a great new artistic eye into the production of the video really shows the effort put in by Throw Vision.
All of the musicians in Throw Vision are keeping busy not only with the group but with individual projects. Four very busy musicians, despite all of their projects, have really come together and meshed so well to create a truly beautiful video. Between the powerful drums, the stunning vocals and the stimulating visuals, “Hello Morning” is a track that has been truly complimented perfectly with their video.
After this release, we’re quite curious as to what Throw Vision’s next move will be. You can see some of their work on Bandcamp, as well as purchase a limited clear edition vinyl of their 7 inch Were It Will. If they keep on with the beautiful vision they provided with their video for “Hello Morning”, we can’t wait to see their next take on new material.
