Radiohead’s frontman Thom Yorke, recently performed at UK’s Latitude Festival which occurred on July 18. In addition to his own performance, Yorke joined Portishead and performed the single “The Rip” alongside the group.
Yorke helped sing lead vocals for his collaboration with Portishead on stage. A video of his performance with the group is located below. Consequence of Sound reports Yorke performed tracks from his latest solo album, Tomorrows Modern Boxes. Additionally, Yorke performed material from The Eraser (his first solo album), Atoms For Peace’s Amok, and two unreleased singles.
In recent news, Yorke pops of every now and again. Earlier in July, Yorke performed “High And Dry” with Headless Chickens. In early 2015 Yorke was among one of the artists featured on the British Documentary soundtrack The UK Gold, which was released for free listening on Soundcloud. In 2014, York released the single “You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry,” and he released Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes which was featured during his recent performance.
While Yorke has done a good deal of solo work lately, there are still rumors that Radiohead is possibly working on a new album. Leading up to the release of Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, it was at first believed that the teasing photo was for a new Radiohead album.
