Bon Iver recently performed two new songs at Eaux Claires Music Festival. According to Vulture, both singles are untitled.
Bon Iver’s performance at Eaux Claires was the band’s first in three years. In an interview featured on Consequence of Sound, Justin Vernon stated, “It’s the perfect platform (Eaux Claires) for us to be like, this is how we’re starting this new cycle, new life of the band. It makes so much sense to start it here.”
Bon Iver has managed to remain visible throughout 2015 despite their last album, Bon Iver, being released back in 2011. In June, Vernon joined Kanye West on stage during her Glastonbury performance for short rendition of “Hold My Liquor.” Earlier this year Vernon collaborated with The Staves to perform “Make It Holy,” and he did a cover of Spoon’s “Inside Out.”
