Dirt Fest 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring Down, Coal Chamber And Hellyeah

Dirt Fest is an annual hardcore rock n’ roll music festival held at the Birch Run Expo Center in Birch Run, Michigan, August 7th through 8th. Bands such as Down and Coal Chamber were set to headline since the lineup was announced– however, Dirt Fest recently announced that it would be adding HELLYEAH as a co-headliner, creating the first gig that Phil Ansemo of Down and Vinnie Paul of HELLYEAH would be playing together since the break-up of their former band Pantera in 2003.

While Down has only chosen to play a small number of venues for 2015, for HELLYEAH and Coal Chamber Dirt Fest is just one stop in the promotional tours of their newly released albums: “Blood for Blood” and “Rivals”, respectively. Other major acts include Pop Evil, Kottonmouth Kings, King 810, Upon A Burning Body, Starset, Murder FM,Fear Factory, Periphery, and Mushroomhead.

With tons of great acts for this year, Dirt Fest 2015 is sure to be a hit with fans of hardcore rock n’ roll, screamo and metal fans all around. There is no shortage of acts at Dirt Fest, so be sure to check out who is playing and find some of your favourites.
