Heavy metal band Lamb of God has released a new song called “Erase This” from their forthcoming album VII: Sturm Und Drang.
This is the fourth track the band has released from the album, which is due out on July 24 via Epic Records. “Erase This” starts strong and doesn’t slow down at all, with heavy percussion, fast guitar and loud vocals. It has been added to the list of instant gratification tracks that you can receive when you pre-order VII: Sturm Und Drang via iTunes or Amazon, along with “Overlord,” “512,” and “Still Echoes.” Fans of Lamb of God’s previous releases will definitely enjoy “Erase This.” Listen to the five-minute track below.
The heavy metal band, which has been making music together since 1994, has already released music video for the song “512” in June and premiered a video for “Overlord” in early July as well. They will be performing at Heavy Montreal 2015 in August, along with acts such as Slipknot, Korn and Faith No More.
In 2013, Lamb of God announced a special edition of their album As the Palaces Burn to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release. This also led to a feature-length documentary of the same name released on DVD in fall 2014. Watch the trailer for the As the Palaces Burn documentary here.
