Afropunk Atlanta 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring D’Angelo, Flying Lotus And Santigold

Atlanta’s inaugural edition of the Afropunk Festival has officially announced its lineup of acts. The breakout festival will take place Saturday, October 3^rd and Sunday, October 4^th at Atlanta’s Central Park.

The festival will boast performances from D’Angelo and The Vanguard, Flying Lotus, Santigold, Death Grips, Trash Talk, Danny Brown and more.

Tickets to the fest will go on sale beginning Wednesday, July 8^th. The Afropunk community plans to work closely with partners in order to provide low barrier volunteer activities and projects for youth to complete in exchange for passes to the fest.

Afropunk Festival originated in Brooklyn, New York 10 years ago. This year’s Afropunk Brooklyn features Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Kelis, Danny Brown, Suicidal Tendencies, Thundercat, GoldLink, Kaytranada, Curtis Harding and more. Today marks the announcement of the fest’s latest editions: Ms. Lauryn Hill, Death Grips, Gary Clark Jr., Vintage Trouble, Kelela, Jessie Boykins III, SZA and Candiria.
