Fans can subscribe to Rabbit Rabbit Radio and enjoy loads of exclusive music, merchandise, videos and tons more. They have a fresh front and back Year of the Wooden Horse graphic T-shirt which will come with three album download cards exclusively in July. The T-shirt graphics are the design of the duo’s album cover and they’ve also included some special accolades to their favorite musicians and guests on their album. The “soft-as-elf-bellies” 100% cotton T-shirts are eco-friendly and available for all gents and ladies to wear around where ever. Subscription starts at $4 per month all the way up to $25 per month, including artist Dan McCarthy-designed limited edition silkscreen posters, hand-made postcards (possibly in collaboration with the kiddos), and many more trinkets.
For over the past three years since 2012, the duo has released a song consistently on the first day of every month to all of their subscribers including raw footage of their studio notes, personal photos and a general step-by-step peek into their creative process. The duo mixed and mastered their visual board to produce a complete studio album for release to their fans. The cool thing about the creative process, is the fans actually becomes involved in the process of the work, like a co-producer.
The couple gave a gift unto their creative world by giving birth to their son Viggo in 2014. The eclectic two-peas in a pod began to collaborate and start an experimental process with some amazing musicians like Ava Mendoza (Unnatural Ways), Michael Mellender (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum), Joel Hamilton (The Book of Knots, Sasha Dobson), one of their long-time musician friends, Jon Evans and many more.
The innovative duo introduced to the world Volume 1: Rabbit Rabbit Radio and has since delivered some eloquent volume of song leading up to their 3rd album, The Year of The Wooden Horse. In early November 2014, we revealed the release of “All over Again” featuring John Evans which sparked the strings of their fans hearts across the nation.
