LISTEN: The Black Dahlia Murder Release New Song “Vlad, Son Of The Dragon”

The band named themselves after an infamous cold case from 1947. Now, The Black Dahlia Murder is back in the news as they release new single from their album Abysmal. “Vlad, Son Of The Dragon” is streaming on public music sites like SoundCloud, YouTube, and on the Metal Blade website. The album is also available for pre-order on their website along with merchandise to promote the new album. The Abysmal album was created with the re-enlisted services of renowned producer Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel) and former bass player Ryan Williams. “Vlad, Son Of The Dragon” is about the ruthless ruler, Vlad the Impaler, who has been referenced with lyrics from the song about impaling your enemies off the ground, then killing them once they have endured their suffering on these tormenting pieces of wooden stakes. The album’s songs are about a range of emotions the band has felt, from despair to triumph, during their years producing new albums since their debut album Ritual. This new music is bound to wrought you full of those exact same emotions, maybe even more raw and gut-wrenching than some of their earlier albums to date. Either way, you’ll end up hearing something more relentless. Be warned, you neck may be sore for a little while once you have head banged your way out of consciousness.

Abysmal will come out in September of this year. The song “Vlad, Son Of The Dragon” is already available for streaming on any social media website.
