English pop icons Duran Duran have kept themselves busy recently, preparing for the release of their latest album, Paper Gods, as well as for a 2015 tour that kicked off this past Saturday at Barcelona’s Sonar By Night Festival. In support of the album, the band has released a brand new single, “Pressure Off.”
“Pressure Off” showcases vocals from Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers. The tune is a reminder of Duran Duran’s strong hold on the pop music sphere, providing a joyful, catchy beat that’ll have you singing, “it’s time to take the pressure off!” The art for the single’s YouTube video is a kitschy, random set of stickers layered over a pink and blue gradient—a reminder of the band’s unique spunk.
