UPDATE: New Order has announced tour dates in support of their upcoming album, Music Complete. The tour is scheduled to begin November 4 and tickets are currently on sale.

New Order has announced the release date for their upcoming album, Music Complete. As the group’s first release since their last album in 2005, Music Complete is due for release on September 25.
Music Complete will be available on CD, digital download, black vinyl, limited edition black vinyl, and exclusive eight-piece deluxe vinyl collection. The deluxe edition will include extended versions of all tracks on the album and the vinyl will be colored. Pre-orders for Music Complete can be found here.
For this album, New Order consists of Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Tom Chapman, Phil Cunningham, and the return of Gillian Gilbert to the group. The group produced the majority of the album. Other producers include Tom Rowlands (“Singularity” and “Unlearn This Hatred”), Stuart Price (“Superheated”). Peter Saville, who has worked with the group on previous projects, provided art direction for Music Complete.
While New Order has not released a new album in 10 years, the group still made appearances over the years. In 2014 the group performed alongside Iggy Pop, Joe Walsh, and others for the Tibet House Benefit. Additionally, in 2013 the group was invited to perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
In anticipation of the upcoming album, New Order released a 34 second trailer of what fans can expect. Notably, the demo melds together the sounds of electronics and guitars.
