Buffalo-based Mercury Rev will release their latest studio album, The Light In You, on Bella Union. Set to be released on September 18th, this will be the band’s first release since 2008’s Snowflake Midnight. The album artwork has already been released:
The Light In You is going to be an 11-track project. The first single and opening track on the album, “Queen of Swans,” is available to stream via Soundcloud. Take a listen to the band’s newest sounds below:
It’s going to be a big year for Mercury Rev as they reenter the spotlight with both a new album and a new tour. In addition to the release, they’ve also prepared a full list of European dates this year spanning from September to late November. They’ll be making a stop at the Incubate Music Festival in Tilberg, Netherlands to kick things off on the same day that the album hits stores.
