Alice Cooper’s Super Duper Now Available To Stream On Qello

Super Duper Alice Cooper, a 2014 documentary from Banger Films, is available for online streaming from Qello.

Banger Films is known for other music documentaries like Iron Maiden: Flight 666 and Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage. This latest documentary shows the story of Vincent Furnier as he becomes his well-known alter ego Alice Cooper. The movie follows Cooper from his formative teenage years in the 1960s, when he first formed a musical group modeled after the Beatles, all the way until his success as a rock star in the 1970s and 1980s.

The 90-minute documentary is narrated by Cooper himself, along with family, friends and fellow musicians, including his wife Sheryl Cooper, his mom Ella Furnier, Elton John, Dee Snider and Iggy Pop. The so-called “doc opera” contains archive footage from all the stages in Cooper’s career, as well as animation. It won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Feature Length Documentary in 2015 at the 3rd annual Canadian Screen Awards.
