Primitive Race Announce Self-Titled Album For August 2015 Release

Primitive Race has announced August 7 as the official release date for their upcoming self-titled, full length album out via Metropolis Records and Bandcamp. The album features of number of special guests artists including Tommy Victor, Andi Sex Gang, and Josh Bradford.

According to a press release, “Primitive Race have seen the future of industrial music and decided to looks much like the thundering, soul-searing past.” This full length album will include 11 new songs from the group.

Earlier this year, Primitive Race paired up with PIG to produce their collaborative album, Long In The Tooth. As a teaser, the group released the single “Long In The Tooth,” back in April. Long In The Tooth was released on June 5 via Metropolis Records and featured three original tracks along with remixes from the member’s previous bands.

Primitive Race was conceived by bassist, impresario, and Lords of Acid manger Chris Kniker. Band member include Graham Crabb of Pop Will Eat Itself, Erie Loch known for LUXT, Blownload, and Exageist), and Mark Gemini Thwaite from Peter Murphy, Tricky, Gary Numan.
