Beck is teasing a new track called “Dreams,” which he has announced will be a part of the forthcoming album that he is currently working on.
The singer-songwriter first shared artwork for “Dreams” on his social media platforms, including an animated gif version on Twitter, according to Stereogum. A tweet from a WYEP radio music director hints that the single will debut on that station on Monday. Beck later shared an Instagram post with a clip of the new track, which sounds like an upbeat summer song. Listen to the clip of “Dreams” below.
Beck briefly toured the United States in May, in support of his Grammy-winning album Morning Phase. He also performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which aired May 30 on HBO, along with Joe Walsh, John Legend and inductee Ringo Starr. In addition to beginning the work on his next album, Beck also collaborated on Born in the Echoes, the Chemical Brothers album that will be released on July 17.
