Garbage Announce Fall 2015 20 Years Queer Tour Dates

The quartet hailing from Madison, Wisconsin of Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig better known as the band Garbage is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album. And to celebrate the longevity of their career, Garbage will be going on the 20 Years Queer Tour that will travel throughout Europe and America this fall.

The 20 Years Queer Tour will commemorate the bands self-titled debut album, Garbage. This tour will be the first time that the band will perform the entire album live on stage. The 20 year anniversary falls on August 15th, and in conjunction with the 20 Years Queer Tour Garbage will be releasing a special edition of their debut album. This special re-release will feature newly mastered versions of the songs, remixes, and previously unreleased records.

Steve Marker made a statement regarding the journey the band has been on over the years.

“Garbage was born out of such unusual elements and unusual circumstances, and we were shocked when the first record became such a success. We’re just as surprised to be here now, intact, so many years later, enthusiastically preparing to get back on the road with that album and all its attendant b-sides and lord knows what else. A big piece of our lives remains caught up in the making of that record, and we know it holds a special place for the fans that have kept us going for so long. We can’t wait. This tour is going to be a blast.” – STEVE MARKER
