Felix Da Housecat, a DJ from the East Coast, is coming out with a new album, but it’s not your regular club album. The new album titled Narrative Of Thee Blast Illusion is his newest album to hit stores July 2015. The album will consist of songs that are a follow-up to the 2011’s Son of Analog, Narrative Of Thee Blast Illusion. In a press release, Felix said the album was recorded and produced for a total of three years.
Felix Da Housecat is a native of Chicago, IL and has been nominated two times for a Grammy in the DJ/Producer/Remixer category. In this new album. Felix tries to tap into the mood and the melody of the music.
“It’s me tapping into melodies. It has nothing to do with hands in the air, it’s about melody and lyrics,” Felix said.
The artwork was made by a techno visual artist, Abdul Qadim Haqq, which features three characters: NOSTALGIA, HEROINE and PARADOX. The characters represent the new album and Felix’s chance to express how his career as a DJ and as a music lover is truly represented.
