Metric’s sixth studio album, Pagans in Vegas, is set to drop on September 18 on the band’s own label, MMI. Along with the announcement, the official video for the second release off of the album, “Cascades,” has just been released.
Pagans in Vegas is Metric’s newest material since Synthetica in 2012. It’s a 12-track album that will also be released in a limited-edition cassette version containing “The Shade,” “Cascades,” “Too Bad So Sad,” and the exclusive track “Office Towers Escalate.” You can pre-order both the cassette and the album on the band’s website. Metric has already released the first single off of the album titled “The Shade” in May. In addition to touring with Imagine Dragons this summer, they’re also set to headline Riot Fest later this year this year. Lead singer Emily Haines has also recently released new track titled “Lightning Strikes” alongside GoldieBlox.
