English alternative band Django Django have released a video for “Shake & Tremble,” the 4th single from their sophomore album Born Under Saturn, which was released May 5th via Ribbon Music.
Directed by Peter Dee, who is known for his VHS visionaries, “Shake & Tremble” gives of a vibe a la Romancing the Stone, featuring animatronic insects pulsating with the beat of the song, and in a jungle-like setting. It features the band playing their mix electronica and surf rock-like sound amid the ominous and misty ambiance.
The song was written on a volcanic island while collaborating with visual artist Haroon Mirza, and suggests themes of human sacrifice and volcanic activity in their lyricism.
