GWAR is evidently in need of work. They’ve already laid massive waste to the rock world, and now they feel that it’s time for them to lay waste to the music journalism industry. GWAR recently walked into the offices of Noisey magazine to interview for the managing editor position, and as luck would have, they got it all on video.
Dressed to the nines in their finest fantasy conqueror/slave gear, GWAR strutted into the offices of Noisey and began to lay their plans on the table. If hired, half of the staff will be let go, the current managing editor may or may not be slaughtered publicly, and bears will be defeated in the managing offices as if it were going out of style. With several staff members recording GWAR’s arrival, the group answered questions that ranged from being asked their greatest strength (“Oh, we’re strong as shit”), their biggest weakness (“Interviews”), and how they would run the position (“Very inefficiently”). The video, which clocks in at just under four minutes long, is an amusing sight to see, as the three chief members of the group enter into the office dressed in their finest conqueror attire, attire for which the group has been made famous for.
Missing from the group is the female lead, Kim Dylla, also known as “Vulvatron.” She was recently dismissed from GWAR, but the character of Vulvatron may still be big part of the group. The interview film also follows on the heels of their announced 30 Years of World Domination Tour, which they confirmed about a month ago.
