Lowlands 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring The Chemical Brothers, Major Lazer And Hot Chip

The Lowlands festival is back for it’s annual three day thrilling shindig which will feature The Chemical Brothers, Major Lazor and Hot Chip. There will be over fifteen electronic acts added to the extensive line-up that includes, Interpol, Tame Impala, Underworld, FFS, Passenger, Bastille, José González, Caribou, Kendrick Lamar, Rudimental, Django Django, SBTRKT, Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini, Limp Bizkit, The Maccabees, La Roux, Allah-Las, Imelda May, Father John Misty, All Time Low, Roots Manuva, Four Tet, MØ, Kodaline, Enter Shikari, Years & Years, Todd Terje & Olson Band, Marcel Dettmann, Ought, Viet Cong, Twenty One Pilots, Hudson Mohawke (live), Benjamin Clementine and Courtney Barnett just to name a few.

The festival takes place in Biddinghuizen in the Netherlands (an hour from Amsterdam) on August 21st – 23rd 2015 with an expectancy of 55,000 people, live radio broadcasts, many campsites, lots of global restaurants and bars, hundreds of live performances and much more. All activity for the festival will be divided over three areas and eight stages which will most likely be covered tents just in case of any sudden weather changes.

Lowlands officials also recently announced 18+, Âme (live), Batida, De Sluwe Vos, DJ Slow, DJ Tennis, Dusky, Karenn (live), Mefjus, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Paranoid London, Sángo, Spor, Trippy Turtle and Tsepo have been added to the line-up of the event as well.

Music isn’t the only concentration of the festival, Lowlands festival 2015 will offer it’s own University, literature, great quality theatre and film, visual arts and stand-up comedy.

To get there: A number of low cost airlines operate daily flights from most UK airports to Amsterdam (Schipol). There are regular trains from Schipol airport to Dronten, an hour train ride. Free shuttle buses are provided by the festival to ticket holders from Dronten train station to the Lowlands festival site.
