Public Image LTD Announce New Album What The World Needs Now For September 2015 Release

Public Image LTD announced the release of their new album, What The World Needs Now. The album is set for release on Friday, September 4 2015 via PiL Official.

What The World Needs Now is Public Image LTD’s 10th studio album. The album was self-funded by the group and will be released on their own record label. As a lead up to the new album, the band will release the album opener and lead single, “Double Trouble” on August 21. The album was recorded at Steve Winwood’s Wincraft studio in England.

In addition to the announcement of the album, the group is planning a major European Tour scheduled to begin in September. As of now the tour is scheduled to begin in the U.K. in Glasgow, Scotland. More details about the tour including a North American let will be announced later during the summer. The current dates are available below.
