KCRW weekly radio show host Henry Rollins has been chosen to guest star in Amazon’s forthcoming children’s TV show, A History of Radness, NME reports.
The show will follow siblings Jack and Tessie as they navigate through their middle school lives to creating a music career. It will depict the trials and tribulations of the two tweens as they form their band comprised of outsiders.
Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino will provide narration for the show. James Iha of The Smashing Pumpkins will create the original score.
The half-hour sitcom is scheduled to debut this summer. The reviewers’ feedback will determine whether A History of Radness will continue for a full season run.
