Lana Del Rey began her Endless Summer tour on May 7 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, near Houston, Texas. As part of the kickoff she performed two brand new songs live, one called “You Can Be the Boss” and one called “Serial Killer.”
There is no footage of Del Rey’s performance of “You Can Be the Boss” at this time, but one fan recorded her singing “Serial Killer” during the concert and uploaded the video. The latter track is no more intense than most Lana Del Rey songs, despite its title. She sings “I love you just a little too much” repeatedly during the chorus, and her voice moves up and down rhythmically with the lyrics. You can watch the video of Del Rey singing “Serial Killer” below.
During her set she also performed hits like “Video Games,” “Born to Die” and “Summertime Sadness.” She also recently released new song, “Life Is Beautiful,” in the trailer for the upcoming Blake Lively movie Age of Adaline and collaborated on a track with Emile Haynie. Del Rey will be performing at several music festivals this year, including Sasquatch! 2015 in Washington state and Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City. Earlier in 2015 she also announced that she finished working on her next album, Honeymoon.
