The Chemical Brothers have released the first lead single, “Go,” from their forthcoming album Born In The Echoes, scheduled for release in July. Featuring A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip, the track is pervaded with heavy bass and a buoyant, synth-happy choral number.
The video, directed by Academy Award winning filmmaker Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, The Green Hornet), features a group of dancers in identical monochromatic outfits prancing around a futuristic metropolis. The leading ladies look like a team of synchronized swimmers who have nixed the pool for an out-of-the-water dance around town. Watch the video below.
