Ride Announce Fall 2015 Tour Dates

Update 9/08/15: Ride have announced opening bands DIIV and The Besnard Lakes for some dates on this tour. DIIV will join the band on the first four dates of the tour, while The Besnard Lakes will support them for the rest of the east coast tour dates. Ride has announced dates for the fall 2015 East Coast tour starting September 17, at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. Tickets for these dates go on sale starting Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. EST.

The British rock band, Ride, formed in 1988. The group consists of Andy Bell, Laurence Colbert, Mark Gardener, and Steve Queralt. During their run, the group released four studio albums, Nowhere (1990), Going Blank Again (1992), Carnival of Light (1994), and Tarantula (1996). Due to creative differences between Queralt and Bell the band split up in 1996. In 2014, Ride announced that they were reuniting and have since had a number of performances including their current tour.

“More than a decade later, the bristling wall of sound was just as brooding, rumbling and heavy as we had remembered,” said the Rolling Stone in a statement about the band’s return.
