The world-renowned and award-winning boutique music festival, Bestival 2015, travels to Canada to make it’s wondrous mark. Bestival is known for putting on an intrinsic 4-day music, art and celebration of culture at the heart of Isle of Wight in the UK. The fulfillment of such a successful vision is curated by English DJ Rob da Bank and Creative Director wife Josie da Bank, in partnership with John and Ziggy with Get Involved a multi-faceted PR sensation. The ten your and counting festival will be headlined by one of the most influential British rock bands, Florence + The Machine and one of Hip-Hop’s true-to-the-game icons and phenomenal lyricists, Nas. On festival day one, fans and festival goers can expect long-time frequent show smashers, Florence + The Machine to perform new tracks from their third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, and hype sets from Flume, SBTRKT (DJ), Flosstradamus and Clean Bandit. On festival day two, Mr. Illmatic, Nas will take the audience to the streets of New York with his musically explosive vibes.
Last year in September 2014, Bestival 2014 featured powerhouse acts such as Outkast, Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers, Mad Wizards and many more in the festival’s home, Isle of Wight. Bestival 2015 will also feature some of Canada’s hottest talent Caribou and Robin Schulz as well as a recently added top act, Banks. Hosted by Rob da Bank and The Cuban Brothers, Bestival 2015 will bring the heated action to stages in Toronto this Summer, June 12-13th. The unique and artistic festival will feature live performances beyond the music such as: Marching bands, a colourful carnival parade, The Bollywood temple, The Bestival inflatable church, a costume party and parade, flashmob takeovers, circus troupes, yarn bombing, day of the dead cocktail bus, Sunday best ralearic beach bar, the dressing up box and so much more exciting elements to exceed the expectation of fun-ness.
