In celebration of Record Store Day, which took place this Saturday, April 18th, The Go! Team released a new track, “Ye Ye Yamaha”.
Frontman, Ian Parton states of the song,
“a French girl on a motorcycle song featuring the amazing Lispector from Bordeaux on vox. It’s plastered with revving motor FX and a wailing guitar doing an impression of one. I suppose it’s a more badass version of ‘Harley Davidson’ by Bridget Bardot.”
Ian continues to describe the song as,
“It’s plastered with revving motor FX and a wailing guitar doing an impression of one. I suppose it’s a more badass version of ‘Harley Davidson’ by Bridget Bardot. Ooh la la.”
Prior to this The Go! Team recently released their fourth studio album, The Scene Between back in March. The Scene Between is the first album since their 2011 release, Rolling Blackouts.
