Florence Welch, the power house vocalist and frontwoman for The English indie rock band Florence + The Machine, broke her foot during their high energy performance at weekend one of Coachella. According to Spin, it was revealed on Coachella’s official website, that the band has sawed their performance down a complete 30 minutes. Even with a broken foot Florence is pushing to give fans her very best even if it’s not showing excitment through crowd surfing.

The UK rock stars recently announced their new album How Big How Blue How Beautiful will be released in June 2015 in early February. In anticipation for their album, the rockers released second single early this month entitled, “Ship to Wreck”.

Message from Florence to fans via Florence + The Machine Facebook page:

Hi everyone, I’m so sorry to say, that after what was one of my favourite shows ever at Coachella, I have discovered I have broken my foot from leaping off the stage. Unfortunately while this heals, my performances will have to be somewhat stripped back….. I’m so sorry, I’m pretty devastated, but I still want to do the shows. I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope its just as enjoyable. I’m going to try and make it super special for you. By the time Glastonbury rolls around I should be back on my feet. This album was so much about making something from what was broken, so lets see what we can do with this.
All my love, Florence.

The 411 on how the performance will go and staging will be set up has not been released.
