WATCH: Doomtree Release New Video For “Beastface”

Minnesota’s pride, indie hip hop outfit Doomtree, has unveiled the video for the song “Beastface” off their third studio album All Hands, released January 27 this year.

A saga about three cool dudes, wandering through the desert and letting out the rhymes, seems really cool, just as Doomtree expected it to seem. A bit comic and serious like hell at the same time, the clip leaves a good aftertaste. As described in the press release, the video depicts crew members P.O.S, Sims and Mike Mictlan in the California desert in an increasingly hallucinatory walkabout that culminates in a comical shootout.

Doomtree, one of the luminaries of this year’s SXSW, who recently got back from their North American tour and are preparing for the European one, make good self-PR on the eve of their headlining Eaux Claires Music Festival performance, and assign themselves the headliners of the style itself.
