Back in January, Nashville rock duo JEFF the Brotherhood initially announced that they would release their latest album Wasted on the Dream on March 10 via Warner Bros. A month after the announcement, the band divulged that they had been dropped from the label and would instead release the album on March 24 via Infinity Cat.
Comprised of real-life brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall, the duo has dropped a brand new video for “Black Cherry Pie,” the second single off of Wasted On The Dream (SPIN). In true Orrall brother fashion, the video contains a whole lot of awkward sitting and staring off into the distance. It depicts Jake and Jamin in two chairs opposite of each other, a la talk show style. As the energetic song plays in the background, the two brothers throw orange-colored flowers off their red carpet stage onto the surrounding black floor as two people—dressed as a pharaoh and, possibly, Cleopatra in a maxi floral dress—continuously walk in front of them throughout the video. The two remain placidly stone-faced until the video’s conclusion.
