Jack White Announces Final Acoustic Shows Before Taking A Break From Touring

After an explosive performance at Coachella this weekend, Jack White has announced an exclusive set of surprise acoustic performances before taking an extended hiatus from touring. The tour will involve an acoustic quartet comprised of White, Fats Kaplin, Lillie Mae Rische, and Dominic Davis.

White will be paying a visit to the only five states in the U.S. that he hasn’t performed in for the upcoming tour. After this run, he has stated that he will take a major break from touring without giving any specific amount of time. Performance dates won’t be announced until the day-of, and tickets will be released at 8am for only $3 per-ticket. Tickets will be limited to one per-customer and can also be purchased at the box office of the respective venue first come, first served at 12pm. This will be the first entirely acoustic show White has ever done.

Prior to his headlining performances at Coachella, White has been touring extensively to promote his most recent, Grammy-winning album, Lazaretto. White has also recorded his own take on Elvis Presley’s first record under Third Man Records. The new release is scheduled to drop on April 15 for Record Day 2015. He’s also in the process of producing the highly-anticipated American Epic documentary alongside T Bone Burnett and Robert Redford.
