Brand New has released a new song titled “Mene.” This is the group’s first new track in six years which they debuted at a number of performances over the weekend.
Brand New played shows at Colorado, Utah, and Coachella. Following all the performances, the group shared the official track with fans.
“Mene” is a heavy metal tune with a raging vibe and screaming vocals. The song takes on a chant like feel as the lyrics “We don’t feel anything” are repeated continuously throughout the song. The melody is carried by the guitar and ultimately drives this powerful anthem.
According to Consequence Of Sound, the release of “Mene” could be evidence of proof that Brand New may be getting close to releasing their fifth LP. In addition to the release of “Mene”, there has been news that Brand New is working on a new website. Also, Brand New is scheduled to perform in a number of upcoming festivals including Coachella in California.
